Lavalle, George & Noun, Lalonde Win SDGA Sr Best-Ball Titles

Phoenix, NY - The 2019 SDGA Senior Best-Ball produced two championship teams; Mike George, of Timber Banks GC & Marina, and Mike Lavalle, of Lake Shore Yacht & CC, won with a two day total of 134, good for 10 under par and a seven stroke victory. The duo went into the second round trailing the team of Todd Dischinger and Thomas Christian by one shot. They were able to control the lead after going out in 30, 6 under par, on the front nine. They ended up with five birdies, one eagle, and a bogey. 


In the Super Senior division, Perry Noun, of Lake Shore Yacht & CC, and his partner Donald Lalonde, of Stonehedges GC, also had to make up a one shot deficit going into the second round. They were able to edge out a tightly contested division by one shot after posting a two-day total of 145. Round one leaders, Allen Gancarz and Mark Sgroi, finished in 2nd place with a two-day total of 146.
