Timber Banks Wins SDGA Inaugural Senior Interclub Title

Baldwinsville, NY - The team from Timber Banks GC won the inaugural SDGA Senior Interclub, hosted by Radisson Greens GC, with a two team best-ball total of 144. The team consisted of two two-man teams. Both teams played under the best-ball format and combined the two best-ball totals for the team score. The first team consisted of Gary Dattmore and Mike George. They posted a best-ball score of 71, one under par. The second team consisted of Chris Smithers and David Darling. They posted a best-ball score of 73, making the team best-ball total 144, even par. The team from Timber Banks was able to beat Newman Municipal GC's team after tie breakers went to the lowest 9 hole best ball score posted by either team.

The SDGA would like to thank the staff and membership at Radisson Greens for being such gracious hosts. It was a very successful first year for the Senior Interclub, thanks to the twenty clubs that were represented in the tournament. We look forward to the tournaments growth in the coming years.
