With the SDGA tournament season scheduled to start on June 18th, we wanted to provide golfers with an update as we navigate through the COVID-19 pandemic.
All SDGA tournaments will be conducted as scheduled (see the 2020 SDGA tournament schedule). If there are changes to conditions that warrant postponing or canceling any future tournaments, the SDGA will quickly make that decision and notify players immediately.
Our primary focus is the health and safety of the SDGA and club staff, volunteers, and players. To that end, we will be employing a playbook of policies utilizing CDC guidelines meant to significantly reduce the potential for this virus to be transmitted. Players will be emailed the most up-to-date playbook so that the procedures under which we will operate SDGA competitions can be carefully reviewed and prepared for in advance. We will need 100% compliance from players, so be sure to do your part!
