Perry Noun, Jr. & III win SDGA Father & Son

Sunday, June 18, 2017

In the scratch division, the teams of Joe & Jonny Petrin (Lake Shore), Mike and Matt Naton (Tuscarora) and Perry & Perry Noun (Timber Banks) tied at 7-under par 64 and played off for winner of the Scratch Division.  The Petrins and Nouns both made long birdie putts on the first extra hole (#1) to extend the playoff to the second playoff hole (#18).  Jonny Petrin’s 350 yard drive on #18 hit the cart path and ended up 20 yards short of the green.  The Petrin’s birdie putts from 20 feet burned the edge and Perry Noun, III made a 15 footer for the win.

In the Callaway (handicap) Division, father/son duo Daniel and Sean Stanistreet (Tuscarora) won by four-stokes with a 5-under 66.
