It was a cold and windy day at Cazenovia Country Club until the sunshine broke through as our final groups finished their second round.

The Senior Division came down to the wire as there was a two-way tie at 75 after the first day between Michael Naton (Tuscarora GC) and eventual winner Tim Scheemaker (Beaver Meadows GC). Tim used his solid short game to capitalize on a couple of key scrambles coming down the stretch. He was able to hold off Naton, for a 2-stroke victory, after posting a second-round score of 78, for a two-day total of 153. According to Tim, this is his first individual title in competitive golf.

Super Senior Division winner, Randy Young, coasted to victory with spectacular rounds of 75 and 73 for a two-day total of 148. Randy bested the field by a whopping 12 strokes!
