McGough Wins 2019 SDGA Audi Memorial Title

Syracuse, NY- The 2019 SDGA Audi Memorial Championship, hosted by Bellevue Country Club, produced a new champion. Bellevue's own, Stewart McGough, won in his first year eligible for the senior championship. Following the first round he was tied for first place with Bellevue's Randy Young, the eventual runner-up, after both carded a 76. Stewart was able to build on his strong first round and carded a solid 75 for a two day total of 151, 9 over par.

The course was in phenomenal shape and the grounds crew did a tremendous job battling through two weather delays during the first round. The Syracuse District would like to thank the membership and staff at Bellevue Country Club for being such gracious hosts.

Note: During Wednesday's first round Radisson's Jim Obernesser had a hole in one on #3. He used a gap wedge from 94 yards. The hole in one was witnessed by Pat Dolan, Ed Stevens, and John Puchir.
