Angelucci Prevails to Win 2024 Gerry Ashe

SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Jack Angelucci of Yahnundasis GC fired a two-round total of 144 (+2) at Bellevue Country Club this past weekend to capture the 2024 SDGA Gerry Ashe Memorial Championship.

The 54-hole stroke play event was shortened to 36 holes after heavy rains during Saturday's second round.

Angelucci sat one back of the lead after Friday's first round. Strong winds made for tough conditions on Sunday, but his 71 was tied for the low round of the day, and was enough for a one stroke victory over Max Dec of Timber Banks GC.

This is Angelucci's second Gerry Ashe title, having won in 2022 at Beaver Meadows.

Rounding out the top 5 were Spencer Baum (Wa-Noa GC), Johnny Gruninger (Bellevue CC) and Ben Gaulin (Cazenovia CC).
