Bill Moore Awarded Golfer of the Year

New York State Golf Association Executive Director Bill Moore has been named the 2022 Syracuse District Golfer of the Year. Bill was recognized for his outstanding contributions to amateur golf at the local and state level through his work with the Syracuse District Golf Association and the New York State Golf Association, respectively. The award was presented by his friends and fellow board members.

"I am flattered to be named the Syracuse District Golf Association Golfer of the Year for 2022," Moore said. "As someone who has competed in SDGA Championships since I was a kid, I have the utmost respect for all the people who have volunteered their time over the years to give myself and others the opportunity to compete. To be recognized as someone who has also played a role in promoting and preserving our great game at the local level is an honor and something I hope to continue to do for years to come."
