Brad Monroe Claims Inaugural SDGA Mid Amateur Championship

Brad Monroe posted rounds of four-under-par, 68, at Seneca Falls Country Club and two-under-par, 69 at Highland Park Golf Course. to win the first ever SDGA Mid Amateur Championship. This is Monroe's second victory this season after winning the SDGA Best Ball Championship with Kevin Vandenberg.

During the second round at Highland Park Golf Course, John Sandlas achieved a rare golfing feat when he holed his second shot on the par 5, 14th hole for an albatross.
