Cazenovia CC Captures Interclub Title

Cazenovia Country Club ran away with the 2025 SDGA Interclub Championship at Lakeshore Y&CC. With two players logging rounds under-par, including medalist Ben Gaulin, the team finished at one-over par to win by eight strokes.

Gaulin led the way with a 70 (-2), rolling in four birdies to one bogey. Tom Garby posted a 71 that included four birdies, overcoming a double-bogey on the 13th hole to post one of just four rounds under par across the 13-team competition. Rounding out Cazenovia’s scoring was Jack Rotondo, who logged a 76 with three birdies on the round.
The third round under-par belonged to Lakeshore’s Anthony Falgiatano, who matched Gaulin’s 70 with six birdies to three bogeys. That helped his team finish in second place at nine-over par, with Andrew Brunozzi and Jesse Farabee contributing scores of 77 and 78, respectively.
The final round under-par came from Beaver Meadows Golf Club, who finished third place at ten-over. Mitchell Weigand converted four birdies en route to the third 70 of the day, followed by Tim McCall (78) and Kieran Farrell (78).
Oswego CC, comprised of Joe Babcock (75), Greg Lavery (75) and Michael Palmitesso (76) combined to shoot ten-over to finish in fourth place. Tuscarora GC, led by Nicholas Masterpole (75), Matt Ziemann (76) and Christopher Quilty (77), rounded out the top-five at 12-over.
