Williams Wins 2022 SDGA Junior District Match Play Championship

Gabe Williams, of Seven Oaks, captured the 2022 SDGA Junior District Match Play Championship Wednesday at Drumlins Country Club. Williams secured his victory with a birdie on the first playoff hole to win a hard fought final match against Aidan Farmer of Beaver Meadows.

Williams, the tournament's number 1 overall seed, also defeated Connor Christie of Tuscarora 5&3 and Porter Matt of Onondaga 3&1.

This is Williams' second SDGA title of the summer, having already captured the 2022 SDGA Junior Classic.
