Cavalry Club Wins 2019 SDGA Interclub

Cicero, NY - The team from Cavalry Club won the 2019 SDGA Interclub, hosted by Lake Shore Yacht & Country Club with a team score of 223, 7 over par. Each team consisted of four players competing in 18 holes of individual stroke play, with the best three scores counting towards the team score. Cavalry Club was led by medalist Luke Hobika, who posted a 3 under par 69. Mike DeBlois and Steve Ryu both carded rounds of 77 to round out the team's score. Not pictured is the fourth member of the Cavalry Club team, Jim Harris, who had to withdraw due to injury part way through his round. Luckily, the team was able to overcome having all three scores count for a three-stroke victory over 2nd place team Drumlins GC.

The SDGA would like to thank the staff and membership at Lake Shore Yacht & Country Club for being great hosts. The course was in phenomenal shape and proved to be a great test to all who participated.
